My MIL is straight out of hell. She is mean, judgemental, and unwelcoming. She has never given me a chance. She is just awful toward me for no reason at all.
Me the (daughter-in-law) well I’m always trying to be sweet and thoughtful. I invite her over for dinner and I get rudely rejected. I send her M.I.L greeting cards to show that I care and receive no acknowledgements.
How long did it take for your relationship with your MIL to get better or did it get worse over time?
There is only so much that you can take. After time of trying I think you should give up on having a relationship with this woman. Its not worth being treated like crap and putting up with it.
